Our Practitioners use Nano Plasma treatment to safely remove moles from any skin surface with no scarring or hyperpigmentation. Your skin will be smooth and free from blemishes, and the skin is stimulated to produce collagen which rejuvenates the area.
Please be aware that this is a cosmetic procedure for harmless moles. If you are concerned about a new or existing mole: if they are changing size, shape, or colour; or start to itch, weep, or bleed, please visit your GP. We are only able to remove moles which are normal and non-cancerous and have been classified as such by your doctor or consultant dermatologist.
We offer a free consultation to discuss your needs, and assess the type and number of moles that you would like to have removed. We ask you to complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire to ensure we are treating you safely, and also take a sequence of photos as records before and after treatment. We then tailor a programme of treatment with you providing all the information you need, including the anticipated costs to consider. We allow time to answer any questions you may have.
On your treatment visit we will use numbing cream, or a small injection to anaesthetise the mole area. Multiple moles can be treated during the same session.
Where raised moles have been removed you will see that the skin is flatter, and there will be a scab-like crust of carbonised cells. Flat moles or pigmented skin may have a crust, or may look like a pink patch of skin. The crust layer will gradually flake away over the next few days to reveal the healing skin underneath, you will need to be careful to avoid picking the crust.
Treatment areas will continue to improve over the next 3 months. During this healing time it is especially important to follow the post-treatment care instructions that our practitioners advise. We will take a succession of photos to note the progress of treatments and end results. Actual treatment results will be variable to individual patients.
Most patients can carry on with their normal daily routines following treatments. Although it is expected to experience minor discomfort or swelling up to 7 days along with brown marks that have the appearance of scabbing, after approximately 5 days these will fall off revealing new skin. As with all aesthetic treatments at Cirencester Dental and Aesthetics we will arrange a review appointment in the month following treatment.
